Position - Test Engineer (EVIF)
Location - Hybrid, Fort Meade, MD
Clearance - Active Secret Full Time/Permanent
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with effectively detecting, tracking, reporting, and communicating test defects.
- Experience with the life cycle of software in military simulation systems.
- Familiar with agile development methodologies and test-driven development.
- Expertise in the Atlassian tool suite, to include JIRA and Confluence
- Current IAT Level II or higher Certification such as Security + or CISSP
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Certifications:
- Current IAT Level II or higher Certification (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
- Relevant testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with requirements traceability, system-of-systems integration and testing.
Experience with cloud-based environments and infrastructure.
