Welder Needed!
We are seeking a skilled 5+ years of GMAW welding experience team in a fast-paced metal manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both TIG and Arc welding techniques, ensuring high-quality welds and contributing to the overall production process.
Key Responsibilities:
– Set up and operate TIG and Arc welding equipment according to specifications.
– Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to execute precise welds.
– Perform welding on various metals, ensuring adherence to industry standards and quality control measures.
– Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
– Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines and specifications.
– Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working order.
– Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
– Document work completed and assist in reporting any issues or discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in TIG and Arc welding, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in welding and metal fabrication.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
