Job Overview
We're looking for an exceptional Area Director who will lead our dedicated team in providing community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is crucial in ensuring our operations run smoothly and effectively, positively impacting the lives of the adults we support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direction, leadership, and supervision to professional staff at program sites to deliver high-quality services.
Oversee the financial performance of the area business unit, including reviewing financial statements, managing purchasing, and ensuring billing compliance and accurate documentation.
Implement core growth strategies to increase census, maximize utilization and occupancy rates, and support new program developments.
Foster relationships with case managers, referral agents, local legislators, and government officials, advocating for the individuals we serve.
Maintain and nurture relationships with individuals served, mentors, families, and guardians to ensure a supportive community.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with three to six years of related experience, including significant management experience in the human services field.
A Master's degree in Human Services or equivalent education and experience, as required by state regulations.
Licensure as required by state.
Strong leadership qualities, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively.
Outstanding communication skills to manage and build relationships.
