Mindera’s organizational design includes ‘verticals’ which are Gaming, Fintech, FashionTech and Retail. 

Mindera is looking to recruit a Business Development Director, with recent experience in a gaming company or domain to create a strategy for business development in collaboration with peers. In this role you will work closely with Mindera business and vertical owners from around the world to build out the top of the funnel and support new clients with pitches and RFP responses.

The role will be hybrid and flexible in terms of work location, but some domestic and international travel will be required to meet face-to-face with prospects and existing clients. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with gaming industry stakeholders to drive long-term strategic opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new opportunities within the gaming ecosystem (Games distributors and Games Studios), including emerging platforms and technologies. 
  • Utilize your own networking contacts to build client prospect lists.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with the Managing Director, US, Pre-Sales Senior Engineer, US & the Gaming Vertical lead to attend meetings with prospects to determine technical and business requirements ensuring all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution in order to close new client opportunities.
  • Regularly update CRM.
  • Work with the US & Global teams to get feedback on issues with client existing products and solutions and gather feedback for input into the RFP’s.
  • Develop and implement an organized approach for deal flow to maximise execution and the securing of new business.
  • Develop formal written RFP’s (Request for Proposal) and tender responses at C-level.
  • Build productive working relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities.
  • Have the ability to present and differentiate technical & product offerings at a level above the competition.
  • Provide accurate and timely management information, to include - activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts & KPI’s,
  • Attend, network and be a speaker at conferences/conventions where they are a fit for the outreach program.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development & client sales
  • 5+ years of experience in the Gaming industry
  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing unique solutions to unique business needs - not just integrations with existing products.
  • Experience in C-Suite, enterprise and B2B outreach and communications
  • An existing network within the Gaming industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent preparation & presentation skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Ability to explain and present technical solutions
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Affinity to both sales and technology functions
  • A strong team player
  • Be based in the US with travel required to meet prospects and clients.
