Description:
The City of Piqua is seeking an Intern to contribute to the effective delivery and support of the Community Services departments. Under direct supervision the Intern, works with the City Planner and GIS Manager to perform duties that support the overall efforts of the Community Services Department, including, but not limited to, management of permitting software including review and submission of zoning and engineering permits; creation and organization of geographic information systems data, metadata, and assets; development and support of long-term planning documents; general departmental organization, digitization; and Performs other duties as required.
The successful applicant must have a high school diploma or GED and currently enrolled in accredited college program with course work in urban planning, geographic information systems, city planning, city administration, or closely related field.
This is a temporary position, and the Intern will work up to 40 hours per week.

Wage Rate: The hourly rate is $15.00 - $20.00 per hour.
