Job Description

Position: Insurance Associate Broker

Location: Chicago, IL

Worksite Arrangement: Hybrid, 2-3 days a week in-office (Mon & Fri work from home)

Schedule: 8am-5pm CT, M-F

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 annually DOE + quarterly merit bonus

Start date: Early June

*P&C License Required

Overview:

Avenica is currently evaluating talent for an Associate Broker in the insurance industry. This person will be responsible for providing exceptional service to retail agency clients & insurance markets. Responsibilities:

• Assess client needs and provide tailored insurance quotes
• Coordinate with insurance carriers and agency partners to secure renewals and competitive coverage
• Develop knowledge of transportation insurance products and market trends
• Maintain strong relationships with agents and carriers through clear, consistent communication
• Keep organized and accurate electronic records of policies

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• P&C insurance license required. Future renewal costs supported by the company
• 2+ years of insurance experience in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  
• Interest in building and maintaining strong client relationships
  
• Strong organization skills, technical skills, and attention to detail
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US, Avenica is not able to provide sponsorship at this time
