**Work from Home as a Part-Time Local Success Coach (LSC)!**
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Local Success Coach to support Host Families and Au Pairs in your area. This part-time position is perfect for those passionate about cultural exchange, child care, and helping families succeed.
**Position Overview:**
As a Local Success Coach, you will build strong relationships with families and Au Pairs from around the world. This role offers the flexibility of working from home and allows you to create your own schedule while adhering to the timely requirements of the Au Pair program regulations.
**Employment Type:**
- Part-time, estimated 1.4 hrs./wk.
- Work-from-home / remote
- Independent contractor / 1099 / self-employed
- Must live within a one-hour drive of San Diego, CA
This position has the potential to grow into a full-time role as the number of families and Au Pairs you represent increases. You must be self-motivated, sales-driven, and professional with strong interpersonal and counseling skills.
**Compensation:**
Your compensation is organized into tiers based on the total number of active families in your service area. For an area with 6 active families, you will spend approximately 1.4 hours per week supporting your families and Au Pairs, with an estimated yearly compensation of up to $4,500. If you grow your cluster to at least 11 families, your estimated weekly hours will increase to 3.0, with an estimated yearly compensation of $9,300.
As an independent contractor, you will be paid monthly for the deliverables submitted for the prior month. The hourly rate equivalent is approximately $60, but this can fluctuate based on client changes during the year.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide information and support to families during the matching process.
- Explain regulations, policies, and rules to Host Families & Au Pairs.
- Conduct in-home family interviews/site visits to confirm families understand the program regulations.
- Conduct in-home orientations upon the arrival of a new Au Pair.
- Conduct monthly phone and in-person communications with families and Au Pairs.
- Organize frequent in-person "cultural events" for Au Pairs.
- Work with headquarters staff to support families and Au Pairs.
- Develop personal relationships with families and Au Pairs.
- Execute marketing initiatives coordinated with headquarters.
- Assist during crisis and conflict situations quickly and professionally.
- Support families and Au Pairs with conflict resolution and issue management.

**Training and Onboarding:**
To become knowledgeable about the Au Pair Program and learn how to perform your LSC tasks, you'll need about a year's worth of experience. Your training is separated into two major groupings:
1. **First Two Months:** This new hire training and onboarding process helps you learn about the Au Pair program, the rules, and regulations families follow, and how to perform ongoing LSC tasks. This paid training is approximately 4 hours per week and includes reading, watching videos, self-exercises, and meeting with training personnel.
2. **Six Months After Starting:** This 10-week program focuses on teaching you about the matching process and how you can help families find the right Au Pair. This paid training is approximately 3.5 hours per week and includes reading, self-exercises, and meeting with training personnel.
