Job Description

Mobile Ultrasound Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Mobile Ultrasound Technician to join our team! In this exciting role, you will provide vital diagnostic services to patients in various locations, including nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and processing sites throughout the Bay Area.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasounds using portable sonographic equipment and transmit images securely to radiologists for interpretation.
  • Travel independently to assigned locations in a company-provided vehicle.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and effectively communicate with patients, facility staff, and colleagues.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and follow strict infection control protocols.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot sonographic equipment.
  • Continuously update your knowledge and skills in the field of ultrasound.


Qualifications:

  • Registered with ARDMS or CCI for vascular ultrasound (general registry required) - ARDMS credentials preferred (ARDMS RVT, RDMS (AB), ARDMS (ECHO))
  • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a mobile ultrasound setting (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license with clean record
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 20 lbs
  • Strong computer skills, including basic smartphone operation and document printing/scanning
  • Must meet vaccination requirements (COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption)
