Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Scrum Master to join our team, focusing on a SAFe Agile environment. In this role, you will serve as a servant leader and coach for the Agile team, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and facilitating key team events, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. You will be instrumental in removing any obstacles that hinder the team's progress and will play a vital role in cross-team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a collaborative team environment by promoting Agile practices and principles.
- Facilitate team events such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Actively participate in Program Increment (PI) planning, integrating your team's work with broader planning efforts involving multiple teams.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and stakeholders to manage dependencies and support alignment with program goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the overall success of the Agile Release Train (ART) by ensuring multiple teams work toward a common mission.
- Coach and mentor team members, providing feedback to advance their maturity in Agile practices.
- Develop and deliver training on Agile-Lean practices to promote enterprise-wide adoption of Agile methodologies.
- Engage with a cohort of Agile Coaches to co-develop continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Provide tools and resources to help reduce waste and drive improvements across the organization.
Qualifications:
- SAFe Agile and SAFe Scrum Master experience is required.
- Certification as a SAFe Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is essential, with a preference for SAFe Scrum Master certification.
- Familiarity with Agile management tools such as Azure DevOps is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven knowledge of Lean-Agile methodologies, practices, and tools, along with the ability to coach and lead cultural and organizational change.
- Previous experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master is a plus.
- Knowledge of two or more Agile or Lean frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Lean Six Sigma, Extreme Programming) is desirable.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent of four additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3-5 years of active experience as an Agile Coach and 8 years on an Agile team.
- Experience within the healthcare industry supporting Agile teams is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to build relationships and influence outcomes.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the capability to facilitate discussions that explore optimal solutions.
- A proven ability to lead and inspire with creativity, courage, and curiosity.
Schedule and Pay:
- Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day).
- Pay Range: $94 to $105 per hour on W2, commensurate with experience.
